Ashley Benson is shutting down lies about her body.
Indeed, the Pretty Little Liars actress recently clapped back at Instagram comments that insinuated her postpartum physique is from taking Ozempic.
"Comments like this are so funny to me," Ashley shared, along with a screenshot of the follower's message, to her Instagram Story June 17. "I know a lot of people take Ozempic, and that's totally fine. To each their own. But don't discredit people who also worked very hard to get their body back like I've done with mine."
The 34-year-old—who just welcomed her first daughter Aspen with husband Brandon Davis earlier this year—had shared a mirror selfie the same day, showing off her midriff in a cropped black tank top, where the Ozempic comment was later shared.
"Getting back to work forced me to focus on my health," Ashley continued in her message. "And working out and I wanted to feel confident and good about myself."
After sharing her points, the new mom finished her note by showing off how she actually managed to bounce back, crediting wellness guru Melissa Wood-Tepperberg. She added, "again, couldn't do this without my @melissawoodtepperberg app."
Ashley's message to critics came shortly after celebrating Father's Day with Brandon.
"Happy first Father's Day my love," she wrote to him in a June 16 Instagram post. "From the moment I was pregnant you never left my side. Came to every single appointment because you knew how scared I was. You showed up for me every time and I knew you were going to do the same for our daughter and be the best daddy to her. We are so lucky to have you and we love you so much. She has the best daddy in the world."
And as for how Ashley celebrated Mother's Day last month? She delivered plenty of pics of parent life, adding, "Being your mom is the best gift of all."
